The planning for the GNC 25th Anniversary has started. We will have this celebration sometime September or October 2011. Please help us to locate as many people as possible that have been members of the chapter in the past. Also, help us to find memorabilia, photos, awards and anything else you would want to share for this huge mile marker in the history of the Chapter.
We want to see you there. Help us spread the news.
…you could have INPUT on what you want to do for the 25th Anniversary???? WELL YOU CAN! Please post a comment here of your idea, or question, or if you want to help, and we will take it and run with it! Currently the committee has decided to go with an “oscars” approach where we can hand out trophies etc…but we would LOVE for you to help guide YOUR chapter and its special anniversary!
I think the 25th Anniversary of the GNC is going to be so exciting and too much fun. I challenge everyone to think back and remember as many interesting things about our Chapters past as they can. Just to make some suggested topics: 1st Officer board, members and meeting, starting the KY/TN Statewide and then starting the first TN Statewide, Chapter and Member Awards, Special Events and Recognitions, NPW events, Community Service, Membership Drive, and just anything that stands out in your mind.
Since the 25th Anniversary of the GNC is coming up September 2011, I think we should locate as many Past members as we can and let them know about the event. I am sure many of them would like to share their stories, follow this blog and maybe even be involved. This could be huge. I am so excited

Let’s start locating anything we can share at the 25th GNC Anniversary. Dig out old photographs and put captions on it. Do you have any past pictorials, awards, banners, decor from events and other memoriabilia? Let’s see who can pull out the most unique or interesting items and share this history. I see many hours of laughter ahead in both the preparation and in the event itself.
